What this map does and does not cover

This is not a complete list of land for sale in Denmark. Around 90% of listings sit with private property portals whose terms forbid automated collection, so they are not included. Pins here come only from the 98 kommuner and Freja Ejendomme.

Zoning, local plans, building fields, protected nature, building lines, ancient monuments, drinking-water interests and cadastral parcels are read live from the official Danish registers each time you click. Nothing on this page is an official decision — always confirm with the kommune before you buy or build.

Coastal and forest protection are not yet checked

Beach protection lines, dune conservation and protected forest (strandbeskyttelse, klitfredning, fredskov) are held in a register that needs a personal API key, which this site does not yet have. They cover 60,797 areas and are the restrictions that most often stop building near the Danish coast. A point that shows no protection here may still be covered by one of them — it means not checked, never “no restriction”.

Plots for sale

A small, hand-checked set from legally clean sources only: the 98 kommuner and Freja Ejendomme, the Danish state's property company. Every entry was read off the seller's own page by a person. This is deliberately not a market index.

Buying from a kommune

Danish municipalities must generally advertise property publicly before selling. Most run their own plot-sales page rather than a shared portal, so the directory lists each one with its contact details and its own plot map.
